These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.stainlessshapes.net (the “Site”), operated by Stainless Shapes, Inc. (“Stainless Shapes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

The Site is provided for business and informational purposes, including browsing our product offerings, learning about material specifications, using our tools, and requesting quotes. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of the Site by, any third party.

You may not: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related systems; (b) introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code; (c) scrape, harvest, or copy Site content or data through automated means without our written permission; or (d) use the Site to transmit unsolicited or unauthorized advertising.

2. Quotes, Orders & Pricing

Submitting a Request for Quote (RFQ) or contact form through the Site does not constitute an order, and no contract is formed until a quote is issued by Stainless Shapes and accepted in accordance with its stated terms.

• All quotes are subject to material availability, verification of specifications, and confirmation at the time of order.
• Prices are subject to change without notice due to market conditions, mill pricing, and material availability, and are only guaranteed for the validity period stated on a written quote.
• All sales are subject to Stainless Shapes’ standard terms of sale, which will be provided with your quote or invoice and which govern in the event of any conflict with these Terms.

3. Product Information & Material Specifications

Product descriptions, grade information, chemical compositions, mechanical properties, and other material specifications published on the Site are provided for general informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, this information may contain errors or omissions and may be updated without notice.

It is the customer’s sole responsibility to determine the suitability of any material for its intended application. Nothing on the Site constitutes engineering, design, or professional advice. Certified material test reports (MTRs) and formal documentation provided with your order govern over any information published on the Site.

4. Metal Weight Calculator & Online Tools

Tools available on the Site, including the Metal Weight Calculator, provide estimates only. Calculated weights, dimensions, and other outputs are approximations based on nominal values and should not be relied upon for engineering, structural, load-bearing, or purchasing decisions. Actual material weights and dimensions may vary. Stainless Shapes is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on these tools.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, page layouts, and software, is the property of Stainless Shapes, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

“Stainless Shapes” and the Stainless Shapes logo are trademarks of Stainless Shapes, Inc. Other product and company names mentioned on the Site may be trademarks of their respective owners.

By submitting information through the Site (such as RFQs, contact forms, or correspondence), you represent that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it. You grant us the right to use submitted information as necessary to respond to your inquiry and conduct our business, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and embedded third-party content (such as YouTube videos). These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites, and a link does not imply our endorsement.

This disclaimer applies to the Site only. Warranties applicable to purchased materials, if any, are set forth exclusively in Stainless Shapes’ terms of sale and order documentation.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STAINLESS SHAPES, INC., ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO USE OF THE SITE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kane County, Illinois, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts. We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Severability & Entire Agreement
